Shetland and the LONELY PLANET travel guide


Shetland has been named one of Europe’s top ten places to visit by the LONELY PLANET travel guide. It places the archipelago sixth on its annual Best in Europe list, praising its “awesome coastal trails, wicked wildlife watching and fabled fish and chips”.
Visitors are advised to spot otters and orcas, try the pubs of Lerwick and visit the Up Helly Aa fire festivals.
