“Blast that Peter Pan. If I could only find his hideout, I’d trap him in his lair.” shouts Captain Cook
JWD relocate Peter Pan to a place unknown to Captain Cook
The theatre production of J. M. Barrie's most famous work Peter Pan came to the Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne, East Sussex last month courtesy of APL Productions of London. The production was adapted & directed by Paul Leno and the edgy and dazzling production was an amazing success. On completion of the production Stuart French, Technical Director, The Royal Hippodrome Theatre called upon JWD Removals of Eastbourne to pack, collect and deliver the stage sets for APL to UK Scenery in Shropshire this month. JWD's experienced theatre specialist driver Alan Bennett (no not the playwright) was assigned to load the new yellow, 10 tonne JWD Specialist Mercedes Vehicle and then deliver the stage flats to Shropshire. This was a 2 day, out and return, journey and involved some night driving, so with Sat Nav turned off Alan's navigational aid was the, 'second star to the right and drove straight on til’ morning'.
With the consignment successfully delivered and unloaded without a 'hook' or a hitch, Alan, with 'faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust' made a safe journey home to Eastbourne.
Its 'all behind him' now.
