Recently JWD Removals of Eastbourne were involved in the UK leg, of a logistics job to reunite a customer who had returned to the UK from Dubai with his treasured Harley Davidson motorbike. The bike and other possessions had been secured into a wooden container and landed in Pevensey, East Sussex for onward transmission to Sheffield in South Yorkshire. JWD used one of their specialist tail gate removals and exhibition vehicles on their fleet, for this consignment. The job was given to Michael, an experienced and professional driver on the JWD team to manage. The customer wanted a morning delivery, so having loaded the container in Pevensey in the late afternoon, Michael started his journey north, stopping on route. Arriving in Sheffield in the morning, the JWD vehicle was reversed into the customer's drive. Michael then started to remove the packaging enveloping the Harley Davidson. Within minutes and after a journey of some 6000 kilometres a delighted customer was re-united with his treasured Harley.
